2017 Board of Trustees Election
Nominations for the LASERS Board of Trustees election opened March 1 and close July 11 at 4:30 p.m. (Central Time). Every two years, LASERS members are asked to cast their ballots for candidates for the 13-member Board.
Three candidates must be elected by active members. One candidate must be selected by retirees.

2017 Election Schedule of Events
(This schedule may be modified by the Executive Director of LASERS in the event of a disaster or emergency declared by executive order or proclamation of the Governor.)

|All nominating petitions, qualifications, platforms, and photos due to LASERS by 4:30 p.m. (Central Time).
Signed nominating petitions will be accepted if received by facsimile or email by the date nominations are closed, as long as the original nominating petition with signatures is received by 4:30 p.m. (Central Time) July 14, 2017 (first Friday following close of nominations). If originals are not received by that deadline, the person in whose name they are submitted shall not be qualified as a candidate.
