Beware of Companies Falsely Representing LASERS
November 20, 2024
Periodically, we learn of companies falsely claiming to represent LASERS and attempting to schedule personal meetings with our members regarding their LASERS benefits. Email scams and solicitations are on the rise, and we want you to be aware of suspicious communications misrepresenting LASERS. LASERS will not send solicitation emails requesting meetings in your home. To protect yourself from scams, keep the following tips in mind:
- Verify email communications. Always confirm the source of any email, especially from someone claiming to discuss your LASERS benefits. LASERS representatives will always identify themselves, and all official emails will have the “@lasersonline.org” address. If you are unsure, contact us directly using the information on our website.
- Check for official branding. Authentic LASERS communications will always include our official logo and contact information.
