Senate Retirement Meeting Update
Two bills impacting LASERS were heard in the Senate Retirement Committee meeting on Tuesday, March 10. Both bills were reported favorably by the committee. The LASERS Board is neutral on both measures.
- SB 16 by Sen. Price – Provides for educational requirements of certain retirement system boards.
- SB 19 by Sen. Price – Changes the name and design of the ‘State Employee Retired’ license plate.
